Job Summary
The Vice President of Operations at Maun Federal Credit Union is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, and promoting the organization’s growth by developing new products and services. This role requires a strong background in finance and project management, along with the ability to lead key initiatives, manage compliance, and foster community relationships.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the daily activities and tasks of the credit union, ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with customers and stakeholders to deliver top-quality services and products.
- Product Development & Sales: Proactively develop, promote, and network new products and services while making sales calls and building relationships within the community.
- Project Management: Lead, manage, and execute new projects as outlined by the Maun Board of Directors, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
- Onboarding & Integration: Manage the onboarding process for new sponsoring masajids, ensuring a smooth integration with the credit union.
- Community Outreach: Visit local areas to promote the credit union and recruit new customers, expanding the organization’s reach.
- Banking Procedures: Perform a range of banking tasks, including handling deposits, auditing funds, monitoring loans, processing transactions, and managing accounts receivable.
- Customer Support: Respond to customer inquiries and effectively resolve any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with audits and regulatory procedures, prepare performance reports, and keep the Maun Board informed of the credit union’s status.
- Loan Management: Identify and counsel potential loan applicants, collect and review necessary documentation, understand local, state, and federal loan regulations, complete loan contracts, and address loan-related issues. Monitor the loan portfolio to reduce past dues and charge-offs.
